Persons are welcome to serve on the altar as an acolyte. We welcome both young persons around 10 years old and older adults to this ministry.

Lector

Persons, young and old, are encouraged to read the Old Testament and Epistle Lessons each Sunday, and lead in the reciting of the Psalm.

Eucharistic Ministers

Assisting the priest in administering the sacrament is a special ministry. Persons called to this service are trained by the priest and licensed through the Diocese.

Music Ministry

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord," says the Psalmist. Our choir greatly enhances our congregational worship. The choir is made up of singers from our congregation and from the college. Weekly rehearsal is Thursday night from 7 to 8 pm, and Sunday morning at 9:30 am.

Prayer Chain

Thanks to this ministry, persons in sorrow, need, sickness, or any other adversity are kept in continual prayer.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

All members of Trinity Episcopal Church who knit and crochet are invited to become involved in a special ministry of making prayer shawls for those having surgery or in grief.

Contact Ann Sullivan with any questions you may have regarding this ministry.

Beads of Reflection

Anglican Prayer Beads are a wonderful way to deepen one's prayer life. Many formats of prayer, along with the rosary, are available. We have seen many persons come through tough moments when praying with the beads was a certain aid.

The prayer beads come in many styles, designs and material and are crafted by our own Marlene. Some of our prayer beads have made their way to Iraq for our soldiers. They also make a great gift. They can be made available for a small charge. Call the church office for further information

Outreach

Supporting our community is the theme of our two June events. And thank to Dominic and Lisa, our Trinity Trekkers walked once again at the Relay for Life and raised $802 for cancer research. Great job everybody!!!
On June 19 we will participate in the annual Canadaway Creek clean up. Participants are encouraged to wear felt bottom boots or other shoes that can be used for wet wading. Children should be accompanied by a parent. This should be a wonderful event to help the community and instill the conservation spirit in our youth.

Sunday School

Nursery is provided during the 10:30 am service each week (except July and August).

Our Sunday School consists of pre-K class, grades 1 to 3, and grades 5 and 6. We are currently using "Faith Weavers" curriculum follows the church worship lectionary and does an excellent job in blending the Scripture lessons with life today.
